From a Kilobyte to a Petabyte Impact: Would Apostle Paul use it (I.T.) to Spread his Message and Mission?

Key Verse John 21:24-25

This morning as I took a shower, a thought came to me, “What would The Twelve Apostles, especially Paul, Barnabas and Silas achieve if they had the technology that we now have? What would be the attitude of Martin Luther, John Wesley, Ellen White and many other reformers to modern technology? I really got me thinking hard!

And here’s what I think: If any of these reformers would have lived in our day, they would have owned the best smart phone there is not for taking selfies and all the self-loving, selfie-worthless imagery I see on Facebook, instagram, twitter and YouTube. I think these will be causing an upsurge of the Word on internet all day long. They would call it an amazing vehicle for spreading the good news to the saints scattered abroad. They will use it as a catalyst to starting new churches and gospel movements.

But did Martin Luther take full advantage of the printing press to publish the Bible and the good news? Absolutely. Did Paul the Apostle take full advantage of the innovation of roads and safe travel in the Roman Empire for the spread of the Gospel? Definitely. In our day, in this age of technology, internet is a super highway of information, a wide avenue for the spread of ideas, especially the Kingdom Agenda, the Gospel. Not to take advantage of it in would be wrong and God will hold us accountable for the lost data bundles not invest in gospel work. I’m convinced that the Apostle Paul would have probably had a Samsung Note 4 like the one my wife and son recently insist I buy….. or maybe an iPhone 6 Plus. Paul as a business man he was and missionary, would have bought himself an iPad or Laptop/Mac with optic fiber internet. He probably would have a blog spot, a podcast, a YouTube Channel of His and a Facebook or Twitter page. He probably would have had an HD video camera or two and would have worked those things all he could for the furtherance of the Gospel.

Imagine if you would have told Apostle Paul that there is a way that he could still spread the Good News around the world without having to ride horses through dusty cities, or board ships through choppy seas and getting shipwrecked, or bitten by venomous snakes or facing hostile crowds of angry people who beat him up? I am sure he would have freaked out about how indolent we are, and wasting these opportunity to cause the gospel to fly in the midst of the airwaves.

Friends, I think we ought to use these tools effectively while we can to finish this Gospel work. Away with this self-worth culture of selfies, being lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. We should be pushing the Kingdom Agenda so we can go home and be with our Father and loved ones from ages past.

We are the true bearers of the New World Order that Jesus shall set up as predicted by Revelation 21:1-7.

“Lets Use I.T. or we shall lose IT!” Its no longer time for take the Kingdom Business (KB) and make if our Mission Business (MB). We ought to move ahead and become Gospel Blazers (GB) who use Technological Bulwarks (TB) to move millions to a Petabyte (TB) experience as explained in John 21:24-25. I am told that 50 Petabytes is equivalent to the entire written works of mankind from the beginning of recorded history until now in every language. Now check this out – the BOOK says:

“This is the disciple which testifies of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” (John 21:24-25).

Not all the digital storage in the world combined, currently possesses enough room to record and store everything Jesus said, did or is doing! What a mind blowing truth! Once we replicate Jesus’s works (the Petabyte impact), we shall create such a impact and experience that God will have to come and move us out of this limited space and join us to celestial universe of knowledge.
